Join us for an evening of family fun, food, activities, animals, and community spirit at The Alva Museum's Autumn in Alva Fall Festival — now in its third year, and free for everyone.

Hayride
One of our favorite fall traditions, and one of the first things the kids ask about every year.
Costumed Pet Parade
Bring your four-legged friends and show off their best fall costumes. Leashed pets welcome.
Children's Crafts & Games
Pumpkin decorating with pumpkins donated by Rooster’s Produce, plus games for our youngest festival-goers.
Fire Truck Demonstration
An up-close look at our local fire equipment, and a chance to talk fire safety with the crew.
Admission is free. Donations welcome and support the museum year-round.

Everyone Ends Up at the Fire
It goes up as the light goes down, and from then on it is where the evening settles. Chairs come out, the field goes quiet, and very few of the families who planned to leave at six actually leave at six.
Alva Fire & Rescue stands by with an engine the whole time it burns, so all anyone else has to do is pull up a seat and stay a while.
Inside the museum
The Alva Museum History Hunt
While the festival fills the grounds, the museum doors are open too. Children can explore the collection, discover pieces of Alva's past, and work through an interactive history hunt built to make local history something you find rather than something you're told.
It is the quiet heart of the evening — and the reason a fall festival lives at a museum in the first place.
